Idea: Provide customer recycling within Westfield Shopping Centres Worldwide
The amount of landfill this would save worldwide would be enormous.
or
(should recycling already happen behind closed doors) show that recycling is already happening.
In it’s simplest form there could be stickers on the bins informing people their rubbish will be recycled. If for nothing else it simply promotes the idea of recycling to a massive audience day in day out.

Not sure what you mean by example.
They provide a massive amount of bins to keep their shopping centres tidy. I would like to think it gets recycled but because there is no signage to say so and no way of segregating the rubbish at customer level so I can’t be sure.
1 – It would be nice if they were recycling
2 – If they are then it would be great to let people know
3 – The act of such a high profile, high number of eyeballs a day company proudly recycling and displaying the fact that they do will surely put the idea in many more peoples thoughts.

is there really a lot of rubbish generated from shopping centres? a lot of people for sure, but rubbish? i have never seen a full rubbish bin in a shopping centre…
