Microsoft is working on improving its replacement plan and warranty for the Xbox 360 games console. They have increased its warranty from 60 days to 1 year, and will now send you a postage-paid package so you can send your system to them at no charge if it breaks down. If the system is fixed in that first year, the warranty will run for the rest of the year or 90 days to get it fixed again if it breaks down again, whichever is longer. Microsoft also promise that an Xbox 360 will be fixed and returned within 5 business days, and they are employing more service staff and giving them better training. If the system cannot be fixed, you get your original system back – it seems strange that this was not always the case, but Microsoft will still not send you a replacement Xbox 360 games console.
