Companies don’t tend to advertise or publicize bad news and if you expect it to happen soon, I think you’ll be waiting a long time.

No, they shouldn’t create an ad that shows a busted pipeline. But it’s also a little insensitive to put an ad out about making gas stations “more fun” at this time. It is not “business as usual” when 6,000 barrels of oil are spilling near wildlife preserves.

In my view, this is significant because they are trying to buy goodwill instead of earning it by their actions and safety measures. That is what I wanted to call attention too.
