BP Sustainability Report hot off the press - printed on 100% recycled petroleum products, of course

Flag As InappropriateVariovox Variovox about 1 year ago about BP

In a tradition continuing since 1991, BP has just released its 2006 Sustainability Report.

The document, as always, is potentially misleading, not to mention it’s hard to separate the fact that an energy company (focused on fossil fuels), is releasing a report on sustainability. A wee bit oxy-moronic, perhaps?

In the end, however, the fact that such a heavy-hitter is trying so hard to clean up both its image and its business (in theory), is at least a little bit laudable…

what parts were particularly misleading and/or not factual? It would be great to bring that discussion to life here with support from BP’s existing efforts.

I found the actual report and supplemental information here

in this case in particular what are we valuing the sustainability of the report as an external event or the sustainable practices of the company?
