Coke looking to recycle or reuse all the plastic bottles in the U.S. markets

Flag As Inappropriatevikash vikash 11 months ago about The Coca-Cola Company

Just heard about this recently from Joel Makower’s blog & site – http://www.greenbiz.com/news/news_thi…

These same guys that have made millions fat, diabetic, and cavity filled. Filled our landfills with insurmountable amounts of cans and bottles, that let’s face it, many don’t recycle – has taken a bold initiative. To build a $60 million recycling plant that will be the world’s largest! Well it’s decades late but about time. From protests in India to lobbying against bills requiring refundable deposits on beverage containers the company has had its fair share of opposition and environmental ineptness. So by all means this is a bold move and one to watch closely. If a brand as subconsciously strong as COKE can take a lead then surely many will have to follow. We hope.
