Virgin Media bought Telewest/Blueyonder... and ups our tech support telephone charges

Flag As InappropriateKeiji Keiji over 2 years ago about Virgin Group

Back when Telewest was Telewest, calling their tech support number of 150 from any Telewest phone would give us free tech support. However, recently when we had to call it, and certainly after it was bought out by Virgin Media, we were told to call an 09-number costing 25p a minute and 10p to connect. We should not have to pay for support from those we are already buying from – especially when such a big company like Virgin really shouldn’t need the money from expensive premium rate lines.

Pull this BS & lose shareholders. Bogus. Just wrong for customers. Bad business. Bad policies. Fire some execs, change policies.
