Royal Mail is offering Carbon Neutral Mailing to businesses who send out promotional items. They help customers to produce mailings wih minimal carbon footprint and so they are easily recycled. They then pay to offset any remaning co2 from the customer’s mailing.

The scheme should hopefully reduce the environmentally impact of business advertisement mail by both reducing the production impact and also by increasing recycling due to the use of the “recycle now” logo on all mailings done on the scheme.
