intel is a great company. intel is a large company. intel has many large customers. intel does not need small customers. intel cares about small customers. intel invariably does the right thing for small customers. intel allocates them product even in shortage situations. intel negotiates contracts with them fairly. few large companies do this for small companies. intel also treats employees well. if an employee is ill, intel will cover those costs for a long time. few companies do that. very few companies have sabbaticals anymore. intel still does. intel often starts or supports industry initiatives. like form factors.org. like 80+ initiative. like usb. unlike others, to my knowledge intel does not receive royalties from these. I could provide many, many other examples. intel is a great company.
