Virgin's Branson announces $25MM climate prize for global warming cure

Sir Richard Branson, who in 2006 committed $3 billion, 100% of the profits of Virgin’s transportation businesses to combat global warming via alternative energy research (CNN) has now announced that Virgin will be sponsoring a $25 MM Virgin Earth Challenge for a cure to global warming.

“Man created the problem, therefore man should solve the problem,” Branson said.
