Warrant Issued For Verizon's Arrest (the whole company)

From Consumerist
...Verizon double-billed Poodleman, ruined his credit, lied about not receiving his letters, and refused to fix their mistake. So he sued Verizon in small claims court, and won.
Verizon’s customer service may be one of the better options in the industry, but by no means is it fantastic. Few customers, I would bet, look forward to speaking with the company that ties them to as long as possible contracts, extra-small print, and looks to make a buck in every possible opportunity, instead of win business by exceeding customers’ expectations. It is one man’s experience, but perhaps indicative of a trend worth watching.

Excellent!
Considering the fact that they’ve been handing over our personal information to big brother, (deny as they will) I consider this action a small but delightful splinter in their toe.

submitted by skyking about 1 year ago
Since one customer couldnt get any service etc Id dump Verizon. Thanks for the info. Im on Cingular now & paid 92.00 for a “free” Sony celphone. & we wonder why celphone companies lose business. Blame Verizon. HELLO ALL CELLULAR COMPANIES. Change or lose marketshare.
