about 1 year ago about Gaiam, Inc.
As part of Gaiam’s continuing commitment to environmental responsibility, the Corporate Headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado are now Zero Waste. Gaiam worked with Eco-cycle, Colorado’s premier recycling center to be a part of this ground-breaking program in which virtually 100% of the waste that comes out of the offices will be recycled or composted. In addition to their current recycling program, Gaiam is now composting food waste including meat, bone, dairy, non-recyclable paper such as paper towels, napkins, tissues, corn-starch based utensils and food service products and plant material. Composting and recycling “all-in-one” bins are conveniently located in employee lunchrooms. Gaiam is focused on reducing their environmental foot print and is proud for their corporate headquarters to be Zero Waste. To view their entire line of sustainable products, go to www.gaiam.com
