Procter & Gamble: Improvement in Swiffer mops

I’m a huge fan of the Swiffer mopping products because they are so light weight, easy to use, maneuver, and store. I’ve used both the WetJet and the disposable wet nap brands. I’ve enjoyed using both of them. However, over the past few years I’ve started to rely on them less and less. I guess you could say, the love affair has faded. I think this is primarily because they fail to clean those tough stains. I often have to take the cloth off the mop and scrub the stains on hands and knees. It would be great if Swiffer could find a tougher cleaning solution to fight those tough stains. Perhaps they could make the cloths on the mops of stronger, thicker material that have protruded ridges and/or bubbles that can cut through the tough stains. Maybe even within or inside those protruded ridges and/or bubbles, there could be some stronger cleaning material that when pressured, are released or squirted out. I would be even more sold, if these new cloths and/or cleaning materials were of eco-friendly material that were not only good for the environment but also safe for humans, animals, and floors. Otherwise it’s just a light mop that makes my house smell nice and fruity more than actually cleaning it.

The environmental impact of these kinds of products could really use improvement. I’d like to feel like I’m not totally wasting materials/resources when using them… like it is today…
