Welcome to dotherightthing! The dotherightthing team and community are glad to have you participating with us.
Before you begin, you will need to determine what type of user you are.
1. Personal user
We all work for somebody, and it just so happens that you might happen to work for one of the companies listed on dotherightthing. Fantastic!
Criteria
- You are acting primarily as a representative of your own interests, not those of your employer
- You have not been instructed to influence the ratings of your company, on its behalf (if so, protect your rights as a consumer and employee and post that information about the company)
Next steps
Just log in and participate. When it is relevant, disclose that you work for the company when participating in discussions about its activities. By being open with your potential for conflict of interest, your contributions will earn the respect they deserve.
2. Company representative
You are an official spokesperson for a company that is listed on dotherightthing (or is interested in participating). Welcome!Criteria
- You are acting primarily as a representative of your company's (or client's, in the case of public relations staff) interests
- You are authorized to participate on behalf of the company and share information about the company's activities on its behalf

- Join dotherightthing by creating a standard user account, if you haven't already
- Fill out a Company Representative Verification Request
- We'll contact you to confirm that you are authorized to participate on your company's behalf
- Once you have been verified, you'll be able to participate on the site, as well as perform several other company-specific functions, such as upload a company logo, and post exclusive content
