Micker is a Detroit, Michigan based serial entrepreneur. Most recently he has founded Elansis Media, which provides marketing solutions for creators of adult media. In the past he has served as Chief Research Scientist for SecureCrossing, LLC, a network security company focused on embedded security devices for HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Prior to that, his extensible, open, blade-based design for the PrintWell RIP (Raster Image Processing) Server won him an Honorable Mention in the Michigan Economic Development Group Entrepreneur’s Challenge. Besides being addicted to start-up’s, Micker is also an accomplished designer and web marketing consultant, with an interest in accessible open interface designs. Former clients include Michigan CAT, Coldwell Banker, Ferrari of America, Century 21, US Council of Governors, and many others. Outside the realm of business, Micker has also served as the Chairman of the Metro-Detroit Green Party. As well as volunteering his time with the Metro-Detroit Freenet, Computer’s for Kids, and the Sparc processor port of the Debian Linux operating system. Micker enjoys cigars, craft brewed beers, vintage cameras and photos, and good books. He currently lives in Plymouth Michigan.
